Chiropractic Care For Auto Injuries
Whiplash is the most common injury from auto accidents, and symptoms often don’t appear until hours or even days later due to the body’s natural fight-or-flight response. However, internal injuries to the musculoskeletal system, nervous system, and soft tissues can occur instantly, potentially leading to long-term effects if left untreated. Chiropractic care is an effective solution for addressing these types of injuries.

Signs Your Spine Needs to be Evaluated:
-
You are experiencing any, even minor, neck pain, dizziness, headaches, limited range of motion, tension in the neck, back, or shoulders, fatigue, difficulty sleeping or falling asleep, blurred vision, unusual mood changes, tingling or numbness in any extremities, difficulty concentrating, or memory loss
-
Your head was turned during impact
-
You were traveling faster or hit by a vehicle traveling faster than 10 mph
-
You were expecting the accident to occur or braced yourself for impact
-
Any metal was bent or glass broken during the crash
-
Children involved in any accident should always have their spine evaluated - they are often unable to effectively communicate possible injuries and can often appear "fine" even when not
Kansas Personal Injury Protection
Personal injury protection (PIP) insurance is required for all drivers in Kansas. It covers the cost of your medical expenses from an accident no matter who is at fault. It's also known as "no-fault" insurance, and Kansas is a no-fault state. PIP medical benefits cover the cost of medical care after an injury you sustain in a car accident, such as brain injuries, broken bones or whiplash. PIP allows you to receive and pay for medical care immediately after an accident, without having to wait for your auto insurer to determine who was at fault or reach a settlement with the other driver. All PIP policies in Kansas are required to provide at least $4,500 of coverage, but you may have purchased more, depending on your insurer.
Preparing For Your Visit
Prior to arriving for your visit, please be sure to fill out a New Patient Intake Form AND an Auto Injury Questionnaire. Additionally, we will also need the Declarations Page of your auto insurance.
